What it does
- Far LOD Render Engine: view mountains, towers, and landmarks up to 1024 chunks (16 km) away using lightweight hardware Vertex Buffer Objects (VBOs)
- Threaded Chunk Streaming: asynchronous background chunk loading eliminates micro-stutters when riding mounts or travelling fast across Middle-earth
- Fast Leaf Decay: floating tree leaves decay in seconds after wood is chopped rather than lingering for minutes
- In-Game Configuration: dynamically adjust render distances, LOD quality, memory thresholds, and performance tweaks through Mod Options
- Shader & Modpack Compatible: designed for full compatibility with OptiFine shaders, FastCraft, Neodymium, Angelica, and NEI
- Client & Server Support: client-side LOD rendering and UI, with server-side threaded chunk I/O and leaf decay
